The left hand tegris tab that goes under the helmet bolt isn't sized for standard ops core helmet screws that come with the helmet. Considering this is the most common helmet on the market, the fact that it isn't properly sized is pretty ridiculous. Having to improvise it rather than simply using it as it was designed makes me wish I had just purchased the legit ferro one.
As close as it gets to the real deal.
Colors look great. I got them with my FCPC from shekkin.
The stitching looks solid. Time will tell
The straps are pass through into main bag and I was able to get a propper ride height front and back. I am using large size for med sapi plate like the original and it fit close to perfect. The quality is high for what it is, and it is a great design to begin with. Very comfortable to wear and a slick profile.
Shoulder straps are horrible. The way you marry the platebags together is shoving the front bags straps into a pocket for the rear platebag that isn't properly sized. The pocket is also too shallow to allow for much ability to adjust to the user. The platebags are also not properly sized. I bought this in medium and have medium plates. They fit extremely snuggly in the front plate bag and I can't get them all the way in the rear plate bag. The way the cummerbund connects in the back by just placing three bands through the back plate bag and relying on the 1in velcro sewn on the bands to hold them together doesn't seem like a secure method either. I have their FCPC clone and loved it, this one is not good, and I would not recommend it as a cheaper alternative to the genuine Crye one. I would look at those or the tracer tactical enhanced LV-MBAV and just eat the cost for them. Very disappointed in this product, do not buy it.
Our LV-MBAV replicates the Crye Precision original exactly, including the shoulder strap integration (front straps into rear pocket) and cummerbund setup (three bands with 1' Velcro for a low-profile modular hold), which can indeed feel snug or limited for adjustability.
On sizing: Our Medium matches CP's S/M, best for Small SAPI plates (8.75' x 11.75'). Medium SAPI (9.5' x 12.5') fits very tightly in the front and may not fully seat in the rear without stretching—just like the original. For better clearance with your Medium plates, we'd recommend our Large (for 10.25' x 13.25' plates) or swapping to Small SAPI.
Looks like the real one, or at least I don't know how the real one could be THAT different. I had the Evolution Gear back then, and it felt way cheaper in quality. This one looks way nicer in terms of craftmanship and material used. (the polartec style fabric is very thick, and not bright like the EG one. Waiting for the Wolf Grey version now :) Made by CombinedArms btw
Great quality T-shirts, material is great and it’s not your typical repro clothing, they have made this properly without compromising the original functionality of the shirt
Looks great, made well. One piece of advice - buy with the training plates while there is a deal on them both!
Quality is great for this chest rig, great chest rig for the price and no compromising on quality here. Another fantastic product from
Shekkin team
The quality of these means that I don’t need to go spending for suspenders I might only use once or twice in a year - fantastic quality as always
Super quality as always, great retention, even for combat master magazines, better than the gbrs ones !
Super quality as always, very impressed by the fabric, sizing is perfect, went for 3xl, im 1.85m for 110kg !
