Had a pricey order, so added this for peace of mind. Nothing happened fortunately, but it's nice to stay safe on big orders.
I've previously installed Ferro's buckle kit on my other PC's cummerbund, and it took some elbow grease. Shekkin's repro of the buckle kit feel legit in a sense it takes the same amount of effort to install. The Tegris material feels strong like the real thing, so don't worry about bending and damaging it during installation... you can lay it flat after putting it in properly. Can't comment on the durability of the "Tubes" buckles yet, hopefully they'll last long like the real thing.
Just finished putting it on my second Slickster! It feels just like the real one I have on my other Slickster, definitely recommend this.
While I got the M-size, Shekkin having an option for a S-size is nice for smaller folk, because Ferro only has M-size and above.
bonne matière. si vous portez du M habituellement prenez du S si vous voulez quelque chose de Fit. Sinon le M vous fera un style un peu oversize.
I’ve been running the Roll 1 as my only IFAK for 12 months now and can say I’m 100% happy with the design and quality of the product. A must buy for anyone running a plate carrier as part of their kit
I’ve been using this belt for a about 6 months now and can happily say that it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. The quality and craftsmanship is on point and still holding strong, the AMCU material is spot on and it’s an all round perfect belt, both for tactical use and as an every wear
Highly recommend some type of tubes cummerbund over the velcro. These feel mostly smooth taking on and off, one seems to stick just slightly but I don’t feel worried pulling it harder until it loosens a bit.
The mag flap works great, bungees are a little bit tight to start but they’re easy to loosen to your preference. Interfaces perfectly with my Shekkin JPC 2.0
It's a well made replica! It looks just like the real thing and is awesome👍
I don't know if you know this but Shekkin has recently changed its production of its Navy custom pants AOR1 Gen2 and Navy custom combat shirt AOR1 Gen2. And unfortunately, it's mostly for the "worst"... The only change that could be considered good and normal is finally putting the inscription "Shekkin" instead of "Crye" (which will avoid confusion). But everything else, compared to the old production version, is unfortunately no longer as good:
- New AOR1 tone that resembles that of other less good reproduction brands.
- The quality of all the parts has become much less good and robust (therefore less resistant).
- The brown knee contour is theoretically quite wide, but in their new productions they have made it smaller (while this is such an important visual aspect when you want a good visual reproduction because it's a typical DEVGRU aspect of the AOR1 Gen2!). And it's not simply a size question !
- We must also mention a "new system" for adjusting the knee height in the pants pockets: before it was exactly like Crye with a beige strap and a fairly solid black buckle, but now it's a thinner black strap and a black buckle (still) but much less good quality and which doesn't really hold the height.
- To stay on the pants, we can also mention the waistband closure Velcro which is no longer slightly inclined as before and which therefore no longer conforms to Crye's reproduction.
Regarding the combat shirt, we can also mention the significantly lower quality of the beige part of the combat shirt, which is no longer made of cotton like before (it's a really soft fabric and therefore much less durable...).
For resume, I'm not going to list everything, but there are so many things that no longer conform to a good reproduction of Crye as they used to do... Be careful because you have to be aware of it now ! And they no longer have old/previous versions in stock. They had talked about modifications to adjust their sizes to those of the Crye, but they didn't mention all these changes, which are a real regression/decadence (I think). I'll let you judge for yourselves if you wish, but keep all this in mind for the Navy custom pants AOR1 Gen2 and the Navy custom combat shirts AOR1 Gen2! While Shekkin was certainly the best reproduction for affordable prices! I don't know what happened, but it's a disappointment if you want to buy details now (in 2025) faithful reproductions... Now, no Shekkin no longer seems to be the "good deal"... And I'm terribly disappointed because I have immense respect for everything they've done !
Please Shekkin go back to the old productions !

Simply amazing, low visual signature under nods, very modular and purposeful for medical supply compartmentalization.
Wish it came with more than just a sample of shock cord, and some options or at least one hook and loop storage panel
Good quality plate carrier, I honestly don’t know how it compares to real AOR1 but without seeing them side by side I’d never know the difference.
1000% good enough for airsoft.
