Perfection.

These work great with my AVS. Color and quality match the real deal. Tegris is sturdy and give the cummerbund plenty of rigidity.

Almost great.

The pouch is perfect in terms of color and quality. My only gripe is there is extra elastic separating the magazines. When inserting magazines they sometimes get caught on the extra elastic material.

Good but not great.

Quality and color are spot on. What's stopping me from giving this 5 stars is that it does not hold 2 magazines easily. Otherwise good pouch.

great clone

quality is pretty good, webbing and plate bags are the correct color. looks identical to my real DGLCS pouches. the lighting on the site makes it look way greener than it is, it’s more close to Eagle khaki than anything. love it, you guys knocked it out of the park.

My Shekkin AVS

I have had my Shekkin AVS since July of 2025. My AVS has held up phenomenal. I have a set of SAPI small level 4 Hesco plates in my AVS and have had zero issues.

GREAT light

GREAT light. Feels good in the hand and looks genuine. Friend of mine asked how I got a clean new Surefire and told him it was a really good reproduction that won’t break the bank. Sits nicely on my Gordon build.

Would recommend over the cobra buckle in general

Would recommend over the cobra buckle in general. I’ve always been a fan of tubes rather than buckled and these tubes cemented that opinion.

Good quality

Excellent build, color, and quality. I haven’t owned a real FCPC v5, but I do own a real Crye JPC 1.0. The build quality is nearly at that level

4/5 bcs

Bcs the metal hooks could be in some sort of darker colour than exposed metal.

Solid addition to any CAG kit

Build quality is good, but wish it was more adjustable. Sizing is more for people large and up. Overall, happy with my purchase and would buy again!

Spot on! Quality and feel 1:1

Spot on! Quality and feel 1:1. Postage is quicker than a Q store issue! Some additional kit to deck this out would be highly desirable as would be issued in an SCE.

The First Of It’s Kind - Incredible Bit of Kit!

I’ve spent a fair bit of time going over the Shekkin TBAS Tier 4 Carrier properly now, fitting it, loading it up, comparing it to genuine issued gear, and testing it under night vision, and I can honestly say this thing is seriously impressive. Shekkin haven’t just made something that looks like a TBAS in photos. They’ve actually managed to capture the feel, structure and practicality of the real ADA Tier 4 carrier.

The first thing I noticed when I picked it up was how familiar it felt. Anyone who has been issued a TBAS before will know what I mean straight away. It has that same solid, substantial feel in the hands. It doesn’t feel flimsy or like cheap gear. It feels like actual issue ADA Body Armour equipment. The weight, feel of the material, shoulder pads, stiffness and overall shape instantly reminded me of the real thing.

The construction quality is excellent. Stitching is clean and strong throughout, with proper reinforcement in the areas that matter. Nothing feels rushed or cheaply assembled. The material itself feels high quality and durable, and the use of 500D Cordura was a smart choice. It gives the vest a really good balance between toughness and comfort without being overly heavy or stiff. It has enough structure to hold shape properly once loaded with plates, but still moves well on the body.

The AMCU material is one of the most surprising parts of the whole carrier. Usually clone AMCU patterns are where replica gear falls apart, but Shekkin have done a seriously good job here. Side by side with genuine AMCU items it blends in extremely well. The tones are very close, the pattern scale looks right, and overall it matches much better than I expected. If I was being picky, I’d say the colour contrast is ever so slightly “lighter greenish” than original ADA material, and of course it doesn’t have the embedded ADF crest in the fabric. But those are minor details. Overall it is incredibly close.

One thing that really impressed me was how the material performed under night vision. I tested it through BNVD1431 MK2s with an IR illuminator active, and the results were genuinely good. The vest does not glow or bloom the way cheap nylon gear does. Anyone who has looked at non-IR treated kit through nods knows exactly what I mean, some gear lights up like a torch. This didn’t. The carrier stayed subdued, the pouches stayed consistent, and the AMCU pattern still retained breakup instead of turning into one bright flat shape. That’s a huge positive and tells me the material has proper NIR conscious treatment or at the very least suitable dyes and fabric selection. For anyone who cares about IR signature, this is a massive tick in the box.

The cummerbund setup is also very well done. It has elastic stretch built in, so it comfortably suits larger frames while still pulling in tight enough for slimmer builds. It feels secure and comfortable without being restrictive. The removable Velcro MOLLE side panels over the inner padded three band skeletal cummerbund are also a great feature. It gives you options depending on how much gear you want to carry and helps keep the vest comfortable over longer wear.

The Tubes style quick release system is another standout. Whether they are genuine FirstSpear or reproduction hardware, they feel solid and work exactly as they should. Fast to clip in, fast to remove, secure once locked. It makes getting the carrier on and off much easier than old school flap and Velcro systems.

The emergency quick release cable setup is another detail I was glad to see done properly. The cable routing through the shoulders and cummerbund is very faithful to the real TBAS concept. I haven’t fully tested a full tear down release, but visually and physically it appears well executed and not just there for looks.

The plate bags are well designed too. Front and rear compartments accept plates properly, and there are internal Velcro sleeves for soft armour inserts as well. I fitted dummy swimmer cut training plates and it gave the carrier even more realistic shape and rigidity. Once loaded up, it carries weight very well and sits properly on the body.

What probably impressed me most overall is that this carrier doesn’t just look correct, it feels correct. A lot of replica gear gets the appearance right but feels wrong once you actually handle it. This doesn’t have that issue. It feels like proper equipment. The balance, the fitment, the stiffness of the materials, the way it loads up, it all feels thought out and convincing.

For collectors, former serving members, MilSim users, training applications, or anyone wanting a very accurate TBAS clone, this is easily one of the best options I’ve seen.

Honestly, Shekkin have absolutely knocked this one out of the park. It looks right, feels right, performs properly, and even holds up under IR testing which was a huge surprise. Without being issued a genuine ADA Tier 4, this is about as close as you’re going to get.
