This is a great repro of the Paraclete abdomen panel.
My only complaint is that you cannot mount it directly to the shekkin HPC even though the description suggests you can, the loops to attach it are actually not on the HPC so you have to jury rig it. The suggested method of using zipties was terrible.
To mount the panel I used double sided velcro (hook on onee side loop on the other), fortunately the abdomen panel & plate carrier have velcro aligned the same way so you can simply insert a few strips of velcro into the abdomen panel, velcro it closed, then do the same on the plate bag & it will mount perfectly.
Very cool piece that gives you the ultimate retro look. I used some eva foam to cut out a soft body armor shaped insert and I absolutely love it. The extra molle space is nice to have while still maintaining mobility.
The groin protector is an amazing looking and compatible part for the paraclete carriers on here, I'm loving the molle space and look of it most of all. In my case, this is super helpful for a Death Stranding Cliff Unger costume I'm working on rn and I am very satisfied.
Side note: customer support was super helpful as they sent over the groin protector while they were restocking the round flapped back panel mag pouches that I ordered, just had to ask them after I was wondering where my order was for a while. Still helpful regardless!
Very good quality and color, very good copy
Color looks spot on, sturdy construction and a great accessory / add on for any of the Paraclete style gear.
It is slightly padded so it “feels?like it has protection. I got mine to add to a HPV setup. One of the things I hated about previous plate carrier setups of mine was how the bottom of my belly was exposed.
This adds to the early CAG look while preventing my belly from getting shot with BB’s. Molle webbing means you can add some pouches if you like.
Pretty cool add-on and fills out the look of the smaller HPV really well.
